This whole process was kicked off by our desire to escape to the South Pacific. We discovered a little island called Vava’u and fell in love. It’s a small place with a population of around 22,000. There are roughly 250 expats currently living there. It’s a great, friendly, rugged kind of paradise. With dogs, pigs, and chickens running free, pretty much everywhere, it’s certainly Harry’s idea of heaven. There’s a little town with a couple of basic supermarkets and a fantastic outdoor market. We’re hoping to settle in Vava’u for a while but so far our plans have been changeable and so I can’t say where we will end up for certain. We hope the wind takes us here but we’ll keep you all updated as to our progress just incase the winds change along the way…..
